Radiopharmaceutical research can examine radiolabeled compounds for imaging, biodistribution or treatment-related questions. PET, SPECT and targeted radionuclide therapy are application areas that require appropriate materials, facilities, analytical methods and licensed activities.
MuriPhys supports study planning for radiopharmaceutical research under its radioactive materials license. The radionuclide, material form, permitted activities, facilities and procedures are confirmed for the proposed scope.
✔ Targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT) – Testing new treatments that selectively deliver radiation to tumors. We work with isotopes like Actinium-225 (Ac-225), Lutetium-177 (Lu-177), and Radium-223 (Ra-223) to support the development of highly specific and effective cancer treatments.
✔ Diagnostic imaging studies – Utilizing radiotracers to track disease progression and treatment efficacy. We work with isotopes like Fluorine-18 (F-18), Gallium-68 (Ga-68), and Zirconium-89 (Zr-89) for high-resolution imaging, enabling early detection of disease and precise monitoring of treatment responses.
✔ Biodistribution and pharmacokinetics – Evaluating how radiopharmaceuticals behave in biological systems.
